Family Resources is grateful for all gifts, regardless of size, to promote its mission. There are many ways to give.

Other Ways to Give

Planned Giving

Our mission—to prevent child abuse—is generously supported by government agencies, foundations, businesses, and concerned individuals like you. You may wish to consider making an investment in Family Resources through a planned gift.

Planned giving meets your goals as a philanthropic donor while providing a way for you to maximize legal, financial, and tax benefits. In most cases, planned giving programs are the result of comprehensive estate, retirement, and financial planning conducted under the guidance of a planned giving team. Your planned giving program will take into consideration your tax liability, lifetime financial objectives, and retirement needs. You can make gifts to support families and protect children in several convenient ways:

Bequests
Providing for Family Resources in your will allows you to make a substantial contribution without diminishing your assets during your lifetime. Since bequests to Family Resources are deductible from your estate, significant tax savings are possible.

Charitable Lead Trusts
You can choose to have income paid to Family Resources each year during the life of a trust. When the trust terminates, the assets can revert to you as the donor, or to another beneficiary.

Charitable Remainder Trusts
An irrevocable trust can provide you or loved one with a fixed annual income or an income that varies with the value of the trust. A portion of the trust qualifies for an income tax deduction. At the death of the last income beneficiary, the assets in the trust are distributed to Family Resources and/or other beneficiaries to be used as the donor has designated.

Family Foundations
In a foundation, your family can retain maximum control over assets while funding multiple years of giving. Foundations provide an organized structure for a charitable activities.

If you are considering a planned gift to support the work of Family Resources, please consult your legal and financial advisers to determine the best planned giving option for you.
