  • THERAPIST (IN-HOME AND OUTPATIENT)
    Essential job function: Assess families and individuals; develop appropriate interventions; complete assessments and write treatment plans; provide individual, group, family therapy; perform case management and other activities related to client services; and other job-related duties as assigned. 
    Minimum qualifications: MA/MS in social work, psychology, counseling or related fields with 1 year of relevant experience; willing and able to be on call; must have reliable transportation; current Act 33/34 clearances; acceptable drug test results.


  • IN HOME SPECIALIST
    Essential job function: Provide daily activities and in-home services for families including providing in-home services consistent with the agencies' mission and values, providing concrete client services, providing collateral client services, assuring services are consistent with program goals and objectives; Completing assessments, writing Client Family Assessments and Treatment Plans; Collaboratively developing treatment goals; Meet all paperwork requirements that adhere to all government and agency regulations; Meet and maintain standard billable hours and quality of service;  Serve as an Intra-agency and community liaison for client services; Attend all meetings and trainings as required; Carry cell phone and respond to calls with 15 minutes, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day; Perform other job-related duties as required.
    Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field or 3 years formal training in related field with 3 years relevant direct service experience; Act 33/34 clearances; Maintain a current valid Pennsylvania driver's license; Maintain a private auto suitable for transporting self, staff and clients in the course of work with proof of auto insurance coverage; Willing and able to be on call 24 hours a day, five (5) days a week, rotating weekends; Must pass Drug and Alcohol test.
    Preferred qualifications: One (1) or more years experience providing direct service to children and families; Proficient computer skills with Windows; and a Demonstrated ability to work well in a diverse environment.

  • COOK
    Part-time position located at our Family Retreat Center, Mars, PA
    Essential job function: Plan, prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals in accordance with established menus and schedules; Maintain clean and safe kitchen; Assign chores to kitchen assistants in absence of Head Cook; Good interpersonal skills to interact positively with participants; Perform other job related duties as required.
    Minimum qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience in preparing and serving meals for 50+ people; Able and available to work flexible hours and weekends; Familiarity with commercial grade kitchen equipment and tools; Allegheny County Food Handler Certification preferred; Good organizational and time management skills; Must have transportation.
  • TEAM LEADER, BJWL PROGRAM
  • Essential job function: Supervise children and youth groups in all aspects of the program; plan and follow a daily schedule of activities for children; prepare and set up recreational arts and crafts activities for children; supervise children in safe play activities.
    Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; must be able to physically perform duties; obtain Act 33/34 clearances and pass a drug/alcohol screening.
  • COOK/TEAM LEADER, BJWL PROGRAM
  • Essential job function: Plan, order, prepare, monitor and maintain inventories of food and supplies necessary for the food service component of the Program; must maintain the food preparation areas and the equipment to meet Health Department Standards; must serve as team leader when not performing cook duties.
    Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; must be able to physically perform duties; obtain Act 33/34 clearances and pass a drug/alcohol screening.
  • JANITOR/TEAM LEADER, BJWL PROGRAM
  • Essential job function: Clean the areas program facilities; clean equipment and inform the Program Coordinator of supply needs; must comply with safety policies, practices and material safety data sheets (MSDS); must serve as team leader when not performing janitorial duties.
    Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; must be able to physically perform duties; obtain Act 33/34 clearances and pass a drug/alcohol screening.
