Our Culture: Sanctuary
Sanctuary is a tool, model, and internal culture.
The four pillars of the Sanctuary Model guide us as we strive to develop the best possible working culture, but also inform the way we engage our clients on their path toward healing. We use the lens of Sanctuary to make connections about behaviors and events, to problem solve, and ultimately to create a high-functioning, compassionate, and healthy community. We examine behaviors and conflict with an understanding that what is happening might be a result of something hidden behind the surface - chronic stress, adversity, and/or trauma. With this perspective we ask what’s happened here instead of what’s wrong.
