We are committed to creating an environment that allows people to learn from each other, their experiences, and their mistakes.
Family members agree to be aware of how they communicate with each other and agree to talk about issues that affect the whole community, no matter how difficult they may be, in a direct and open way.
Members of the community – clients, families, staff, caretakers - share responsibility for doing good work, adhering to the rules of the community, and being accountable for their behaviors and decisions.
People are more likely to support something they have helped to create. We encourage family members to share in decision making in ways that are appropriate for their group and with input from all levels.

We enable clients to move beyond the negative patterns created by trauma through positive risk-taking, self-reflection or assessment, and the acquisition of knowledge.
