The Parent Education Network

The Parent Education Network brings together professionals from all parts of the parent education field for training and networking. We meet on the first Friday of alternate months, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Penn State Cooperative Extension in Pittsburgh’s Point Breeze neighborhood.

Past presentation topics have included supporting parents with mental health challenges; engaging fathers in parent education programming; child abuse and intimate partner violence; the importance of attachment in healthy infant and child development; and helping parents manage conflict with pre-teens and teens.

The Parent Education Network offers parent-education professionals a forum for exchanging information and finding peer support.
