Crisis Intervention
When children are at risk of placement outside their homes because of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, Family Resources helps families find solutions through free, 30-day in-home Crisis Intervention programs. We also provide support and education for families who have been separated and are working toward reunification.
Your Crisis Intervention caseworker will help your family set goals to remedy the issues that challenge it, and help you navigate the agencies that will assist you in reaching your goals. Crisis Intervention is an in-home program, serving only families residing in Allegheny County. Participation requires a referral from the Allegheny County Office of Children, Youth, and Families.
If your family does not qualify for Family Resources Crisis Intervention, you may still be eligible for services through our Parent Teen Conflict Program
